State Assembly Campaign
"Empowering People, Limiting Government and Protecting Your God Given Rights"
Thank you for all of your support!
Thank you for your encouragement, time, and support throughout this run for State Assembly. While we did not get the votes to win, I’m incredibly proud of the race we ran and the issues we stood for. Getting to meet or talk to thousands of engaged citizens across the district who believe in making a difference in the North State was the highlight of the campaign. With the election behind us, I’m refocusing on continuing my work on the Redding City Council. I still have two years left in my term, and I’m as committed as ever to representing our community and pushing for limited, effective government that works for the people.
Thank you again for believing in me and in our shared vision for the North State. I’ll keep you updated as I stay involved in good governance for our city and state.

State Assembly District 1
The 1st District encompasses 11 counties:
Siskiyou, Modoc, Shasta, Lassen, Plumas, Sierra, Nevada, Placer, El Dorado, Alpine, Amador.
The Strength of the North State lies in her innovative, resilient and self- sufficient people. We steward the state’s largest watershed, feed the world from our agricultural crops and grazing land and our forests produce the state's wood products that are truly a renewable, reusable, recyclable and biodegradable resource.
The North State way of life is rooted in Family, Faith and Fortitude. The district sits in a high fire threat zone and routinely experiences severe droughts. Advocating for active forest management, wildfire mitigation, and water storage is critical.

Protecting What Matters in the North State
Agriculture
As a representative of the rural North State, I understand the importance of agriculture to our economy and way of life. I will work tirelessly to support our farmers and ranchers, advocate for fair trade policies, invest in agricultural innovation, and protect our precious farmlands for future generations.
Wildfires & Forest Management
Addressing the threat of wildfires requires proactive forest management strategies. I will prioritize investments in forest health initiatives, support controlled burns, and promote collaboration between federal, state, and local agencies. By implementing responsible forest management practices, we can mitigate the risk of catastrophic wildfires and protect our communities.
Water Storage
Water is a critical resource for our agricultural communities and overall well-being. I will prioritize investments in water storage infrastructure, including reservoirs and groundwater recharge projects, to ensure a reliable water supply for our region. We must balance environmental protections with the needs of our rural communities and find sustainable solutions for our water challenges.
Right to Bear Arms
I strongly believe in protecting the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens, including the right to bear arms. I will defend the Second Amendment and work to preserve the rights of responsible gun owners in the North State while also prioritizing public safety through comprehensive background checks and mental health initiatives.
Taxes
Our hardworking families and small businesses deserve relief from excessive taxes and regulations. I will fight for lower taxes, simplification of the tax code, and incentives that encourage entrepreneurship and economic growth. By reducing the burden on taxpayers, we can stimulate the economy and create a more prosperous North State.
Election Integrity
Preserving the integrity of our elections is essential to upholding democracy. I am committed to ensuring fair and transparent elections in the North State. By supporting measures that strengthen voter identification, secure our voting systems, and clean up the voter rolls we can instill confidence in our electoral process.
Affordability
I believe in making California affordable for all its residents, especially those in the rural North State. We need to reduce burdensome regulations, lower taxes, and promote economic growth to ensure that families and businesses can thrive and afford to live and work in our beautiful region.
Education / Rural Education
Every child deserves a quality education, regardless of where they live. I am committed to ensuring that rural communities in the North State have access to excellent schools, skilled teachers, and resources that prepare students for success. I will fight for fair funding, expanded broadband access, and vocational training programs that meet the unique needs of our rural students.
Crime
Ensuring the safety and security of our communities is paramount. I will work closely with law enforcement agencies, prioritize community policing, and support initiatives that address the root causes of crime. By fostering collaboration between residents, businesses, and law enforcement, we can create a safer North State for all.
Economic Development
To revitalize our rural North State, we need robust economic development that attracts new businesses, creates jobs, and expands opportunities for our residents. I will champion policies that reduce regulatory barriers, promote entrepreneurship, and invest in infrastructure and technology to attract industries that will thrive in our region.
Healthcare & Rural Hospitals
Access to quality healthcare should not be limited by geography. I will advocate for increased funding and support for rural hospitals and clinics, expand telemedicine options, and work to attract healthcare professionals to underserved areas. Together, we can improve healthcare outcomes and ensure that all residents of the North State have access to the care they need.
Housing
The lack of affordable housing is a pressing issue in the North State. I will advocate for policies that streamline the housing development process, incentivize affordable housing projects, and empower local communities to address their unique housing needs. By promoting responsible growth and increasing housing options, we can ensure that families can find safe and affordable homes in our region.
Right to Life
I am a strong advocate for the sanctity of life and believe in protecting the rights of the unborn. I will work to enact policies that promote alternatives to abortion, provide support for expectant mothers, and ensure that all lives, from conception to natural death, are valued and protected.
